Romid Snowglobe (Honey)
This is my beautiful Asian cream smoke girl 'Honey' born December 2006 she has the most appealing temperament and lovable nature. Always ready for a cuddle and loves to be made a fuss of. She is a wonderful mum and had her first litter when she was 18 months old producing 6 beautiful babies that were snapped up before they were six weeks. Please view her kittens on my kitten page.
Willow
This is Willow my Lilac Tortie bred by me out of Honey. Like her mother she has the most wonderful laid back temperament a real softy. Both her and her mother are, like the Burmese, very much people cats but without the 'in your face' attitude very often now apparent in the Burmese that occured when we cross bred the Burmese to the Siamese in order to obtain the now available colours. Similar in size to the Burmese the Asians, to my mind, have a much softer temperament and feel to the Burmese especially in their coat texture which is probably due to the out cross breeding with the Chinchilla and Burmilla cat. Willow was born June 2008 and has proven herself to be an excellent mum.
Both my Asian girls carry a lot of the Burmese characteristics as they have pure Burmese on the male side right back through the breeding line, it is only the female on the female side that is Asian making any off spring very similar to the Burmese. The Asian is recognised by the GCCF as a pedigree cat and can be cross bred with either the Burmese, Burmilla, Chinchilla and the Tiffany.
